This is a legend offshore powerboat built and rigged by Steve Yadvish of North Coast Yachts in Seattle Washington. This is one of two boats that Steve hand crafted from the original 41 War Path mold leased from Apache and you can to this day custom order one and have one built if you so choose to do so. Apache powerboats would NOT let North Coast Yachts use ANY of their deck molds thus leaving North Coast Yachts to create their own deck mold to close in the top of this awesome rig. A typical jack up rig has nine jacking assemblies; three assemblies per leg, with one located at each leg chord of the triangularly shaped legs. The Jacking System utilizes the rack and pinion principle and consists of a set of simultaneously operated jacking units, allowing lifting and lowering of jack-up type platforms. Each elevating jacking assembly is provided with four to eight pinions, which operationally engage teeth of racks on the legs. The jacking units are fitted pairs on each side of a rack welded to the leg chord of the rig. The units can be used on square, triangular lattice, or tubular legs.
